■Features of the audio guide

• ・The audio guide is available on your smartphone.
• ・A complete guide in Japanese and English covering all railway vehicles, most exhibition rooms, experience programs, restaurants, and other facilities.
• ・The Japanese guide has two versions: General Audience and Children versions. (The English guide is available only in the General Audience version.)
• ・Basic and Additional Explanations are prepared for the General Audience version. Please listen to the Basic explanation first, which gives an overview of the item, and proceed to the Additional explanation depending on your interest.
• ・Many vehicle files include a recording of the vehicle’s whistle.
• ・The Japanese version uses narrations by our museum staff members.

■How to use the audio guide

1）Scan the code below with your smartphone and download the app “Pocket Curator”.
2）Open the “Pocket Curator” app.
3）Select “Kanto region” and “THE RAILWAY MUSEUM (Saitama) ” and tap “Guide”.
4）Enter the exhibition guide number (shown in front of each exhibit) and tap the icon . The audio guide will start.
